      Lotus leaf edge

      The lotus leaf edge is the wave of the board edge. This is a common problem and is mainly caused by waves on the edges of the aluminum coil. The wave of aluminum coil is a rolling quality problem. Even the severe wave deformation cannot be completely solved even after the drawing, bending, and correction of the finishing process. In addition, in the baking paint, the temperature of the aluminum coil is too fast. If the temperature of the aluminum plate rises to a very high temperature as soon as it enters the oven, the aluminum plate will expand rapidly. The lotus leaf edge on one side of the aluminum coil is a serious deformation. Although the lotus leaf edge is not caused by the very serious deformation, it will form a side relaxation phenomenon. The tension control braking device of the unwinding machine on the composite production line is generally installed on one side. Because the core of the aluminum coil is not very rigid, even the coils with flat sides are released on the other side. The aluminum plate also has a slight relaxation phenomenon. If the aluminum foil with a slightly loose side happens to be installed on the side without braking, it may cause a lotus leaf edge, otherwise it will not cause a lotus leaf edge. To solve this accident, it is effective to install braking devices on both sides of the unwinder to control it.

      In short, the formation of lotus leaf edges is mainly a problem of aluminum coils. Only severely deformed aluminum coils can be scrapped, but less severe deformations can be eliminated by increasing tension. Some composite lines have two tractors. In this case, pay special attention to the speed ratio relationship between the two tractors, that is, adjust the tension of this section of the board, and it will cause lotus leaf edges when it is small.

      2. Poor adhesion

      Poor adhesion or even degumming is a very worrying issue in the production of aluminum-plastic panels. There are many factors that cause this problem, either on the equipment or on the operation. The cold shrinkage of the core plate and the deformation of the aluminum coil, and the pollution of the aluminum surface by smoke in the baking paint will cause poor adhesion. When plastic contains low-molecular chemical auxiliaries such as openers and slip agents, the adhesive force of the adhesive layer will also be slowly destroyed, resulting in the phenomenon of degumming.
